We are always adding how-to videos to our YouTube channel. They help users learn about AnyLogic, build complex models, and conduct experiments. These are our most popular videos on the channel: with over 34,000 views already.
Check out our new videos: The Optimization Experiment and Custom Probability Distributions.
Rail Library webinar video, a step-by-step guide to rail network modeling, highlighting features useful for your next rail modeling projects.
You can also download the materials from the webinar. The model and shape files are included, allowing you to explore the example yourself, or follow the recording in the video at your own pace. Write-ups of both the model-building and the insightful Q & A session are also included.
Tue, Oct 10, 2017 - Join us for a webinar featuring the Rail Library, one of AnyLogic’s industry-specific libraries.
AnyLogic’s Rail Library allows you to efficiently model, simulate and visualize rail yard and rail transportation operations of any complexity and scale.
The webinar will detail how to build a railway network, including yards, and highlight features useful for your future rail modeling projects.
AnyLogic, the standard in simulation and modeling technology introduces anyLogistix™ (ALX™), the supply chain analytics software to design, optimize and analyze your company’s supply chain. It combines powerful analytical optimization approaches together with innovative simulation technologies offering you a comprehensive set of tools for end- to-end supply chain analytics.
Join us for the anyLogistix Supply Chain Software Webinar June 22, 10:30 am CDT!
Webinar Agenda:
Traditional Marketing Mix models attempt to explore the tradeoffs amongst different marketing channels and the spends associated with them. The weaknesses of these models are, generally, their static nature and the restrictive assumptions required to apply their results. For these reasons, an American pharmaceutical company, one of the largest in the world, engaged with Sterling Simulation to explore the benefits of agent-based modeling, prior to launching a new product. The use-case was presented by Scott Hebert, Vice President of Sterling Simulation at the AnyLogic Conference 2015.
As the hubs of economic activity, cities drive the vast majority of the world’s energy use and are major contributors to global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Nowadays, roughly half of the world’s population is living in urban areas, and this share is increasing over time, projected to reach 60% by 2030. Cities are responsible for the largest consumption of energy resources worldwide – between 60 to 80% – and account for a roughly equal share of global CO2 emissions. The European Institute for Energy Research (EIFER) is a European economic interest group whose mission is to develop know-how and innovative solutions and products for the management of energy and related economic and environmental questions. Dr. Enrique Kremers from EIFER evaluates energy policies and their impact on reducing energy consumption to improve energy efficiency.
