Before a festive break code freeze, updates for both AnyLogic and AnyLogic Cloud arrived. Contained within them were several improvements that we'll take a look at in this blog.

For AnyLogic, we introduced new rack functionality for the Material Handling Library and added file output capability for models exported to AnyLogic Cloud. While for AnyLogic Cloud, we added enterprise features, made user experience improvements, and increased security. Let’s take a look!

At AnyLogic Conference 2021, Python came to the fore in a presentation by Principal Software Engineer Nikolay Churkov. He informed attendees about ongoing research into making Python a second native scripting language in AnyLogic.

AnyLogic 8.7 and AnyLogic Cloud received updates at the end of March. Here is a quick overview of the improvements in AnyLogic 8.7.3 and AnyLogic Cloud.

New density map function. Now the map can display density not only for the current moment, but also the average for a specified period. For example, you can track the hourly change in the number of people in a store, or the average number of forklifts travelling through a workshop area per shift. To do this, in the map settings, select the Sliding window option in the Time period parameter.
