AnyLogic 6.9 has been released! All AnyLogic users with valid maintenance are welcome to upgrade! We continue working on Pedestrian Library: in the new version you will see such new features as density map, collecting statistics on pedestrian flows, new behavior of pedestrian groups in services, area throughput definition. We added a number of new examples and made some other changes. Please upgrade to the latest AnyLogic version.

Working schedule in the begining of January
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! Here at AnyLogic HQ we use the Orthodox calendar and celebrate after New Years'. During the Holidays we will be prioritizing and answering customer requests with a reduced staff and will be back to full strength on Wednesday, January 9th. We will answer technical questions via normal channels, please allow for a little extra time.
The first materials from WinterSim and AnyLogic Conferences are published!
In December 2012 two remarkable simulation events took place in Berlin – Winter Simulation Conference 2012 and the first AnyLogic Conference on multimethod modeling. Both events attracted a lot of attention and we would like to share with you the materials we received during the conferences.
The AnyLogic roadshow in China
This November the AnyLogic team completed a roadshow to several Chinese universities and research institutes. The visit was organized by our partner in China, Beijing Carila Tech. This roadshow allowed AnyLogic users to interactively communicate with the developers. The agenda included a training course, workshop and several presentations.

"System dynamics and Dynamic systems" is the just published chapter in a forthcoming "The Big Book of AnyLogic"
In addition to the traditional System dynamics toolset, AnyLogic offers several important extensions. The first part of the new chapter, which is already available on the website, explains the techniques and specialties of building system dynamic models in AnyLogic environment.
